After dinner the bigger Cliques take to the streets of the old city. That is why between 8 pm and 11 pm you will encounter big clique units.
Last Moves of Fasnacht
The antics of Fasnacht become once again more intense as Fasnacht draws to a close. The mischief and fun being had on the parts of the participants and the visitors can be found all over the inner city. Between midnight and 4 am the last hours of Fasnacht are enjoyed to the full. Yet another highpoint and perhaps the last highpoint of Fasnacht has been reached.
End of Basel Fasnacht
On Thursday morning shortly before 4 am the remaining cliques, groups and ‘Gugge Music’ groups meet up at a pre-arranged meeting point from which they can then begin their final march. This final march signals the end of Fasnacht, until next year.
